Cinémathèque Française is the main mecca for Francophone cinephiles brought up on Fellini, Bergman, and Alain Resnais. Its new home, in the former American Center designed by Frank Gehry, opened in October 2005 and includes elaborate museum exhibitions as well as four cinemas and a video library.
