$$$, Bistro, Trocadéro/Tour Eiffel
Fodor's Review:
In the 1960s and '70s, Chez les Anges served celestial Burgundian cooking. The restaurant has been through several incarnations since, but under new owner Jacques Lacipière, who runs the popular bistro Au Bon Accueil, it has recovered the original name and spirit. Lacipière has made a few adjustments since opening, warming up the dining room with a 1970s-inspired decor and broadening the wine list. The good-value food is a notch above bistro fare, and the menu changes daily according to Lacipiere's early-morning purchases at the wholesale market -- expect dishes such as sole meunière with champagne butter and wild duck with romanesco (a type of broccoli) and pesto. Service is polished and thoughtful.
