¢, Indian, Montmartre
Fodor's Review:
On a pretty little restaurant-strewn square down the hill from Montmartre, Kastoori is something of a miracle. Not only is its terrace (now heated in winter) one of the most agreeable in Paris, but the modest dining room draped with Indian fabrics feels equally relaxing on a rainy day, and the reliably good food offers tremendous value. The best bets at lunch are the EUR 8 or EUR 10 daily-changing thali platters, silver trays bearing curried meat (usually chicken or lamb), vegetables, and saffron rice. Work it all off with a hike up the hill to Sacré-Coeur.
