$$$, Bistro, Les Gobelins
Fodor's Review:
Chef Christophe Accary brings in the foodies on a boulevard not known for its gastronomic possibilities. From a deceptively old-fashioned-looking menu, you might start with lemongrass-marinated scallops and baby beets, followed by duck breast cooked with Jerusalem artichoke or a wild mushroom risotto with Nyons olive oil. There are some well-priced Burgundies on the interesting wine list. The EUR 18 lunch menu offers good value but very limited choice, so try to spring for the much more varied EUR 35 menu (you can also order à la carte). The dining room feels a bit soulless, though bright contemporary paintings attempt to brighten things up.
