Fodor's Review:
At Chamonix's most desirable hotel, rooms are furnished with elegant reproductions, and most have balconies. Many, such as No. 33, have unsurpassed views of Mont Blanc. Choose between rooms in the original building or Alpine lodge-style accommodations -- with touches of contemporary rustic elegance -- in the complex known as le Hameau. The dining room also has stupendous Mont Blanc views. Pierre Carrier's cuisine is best characterized as perfectly prepared and presented, though sometimes not so interesting or original.
