Fodor's Review:

The town's highlight is the 14th-century, mammoth Château des Ducs de Savoie, fitted out with one of Europe's largest carillons. Its Gothic Ste-Chapelle has good stained glass and houses a replica of the Turin Shroud. Elsewhere, the city allures with a Vieille Ville festooned with historic houses -- from medieval to Premier Empire -- a Musée des Beaux-Arts, and the Fountain of the Elephants.
