Château des Ducs de Savoie

Château des Ducs de Savoie Review

Chambéry's premier sight is the mammoth, 14th-century Château des Ducs de Savoie, which features one of Europe's largest carillons. Its Gothic Ste-Chapelle has good stained glass and houses a replica of the Turin Shroud. Elsewhere, the city entices with a Vieille Ville festooned with historic houses—from medieval to Premier Empire—a Musée des Beaux-Arts, and the Fountain of the Elephants.
