Erté prints try hard to set a stylish tone in the guest rooms, the Rhône is just across the street, and tour groups are kept happy and content at this stylish Belle Époque hotel off Place de la République. Other pluses include a courteously efficient staff and rooms with high ceilings. Mostly modern furnishings are offset by one special piece of furniture per room, such as an armoire or writing desk. Breakfast is extra.
