Established in 1850, the Londres is a small, family-style hotel with Louis XV accents. Six rooms have balconies overlooking Fontainebleau's palace entrance and the Cour des Adieux, where Napoléon bade his troops an emotional farewell; the best views are from Rooms 8, 10 and 11 on the top floor. The hotel's prim 19th-century facade is a registered landmark. Pros: château views from some rooms; cozy, family-run feel. Cons: no air-conditioning; limited parking.
