This functional, modern motel is in quiet Les Huit Curés, on the northern outskirts of Chantilly on the banks of the Nonette River (which compensates for the lack of interior charm). There's a grillroom for straightforward meals, with a buffet for appetizers, cheese, and desserts. You can dine outside on the terrace in summer.

I missed a flight from Paris to Chicago and the airline set my group and I up at this hotel. I was impressed, I expected them to dump us as a cockroach infested motel and say, "just be happy you have a place to sleep". But this hotel was actually quite nice. Nothing out of the ordinary or spectacular, but clean, modern with very tasty croissants for breakfast! They also ran a tour of the major sights of paris. We talked him down to 35 euros per person.
It was the perfect tour for us, because we were only in Paris for the evening. They whizzed us by all of the exciting attractions of Paris, The Louvre, Arc de Triumph and let us get out and take pictures at Montmarte, Notre Dame and the Eifel Tower. Not the tour I would do if I came to Paris for a week, but for our situation, it was perfect! (I marked a five for the value rating only because our stay was free! I actually do not know the real rates!)
