This small, white-walled restaurant in the center of Vernon looks unremarkable inside and out, but the cuisine of chef-owner Bernard Lefebvre has far more personality—as you can see with one bite of the roast salmon with herbs, beef fillet with Camembert and cider sauce, or the snails in a Roquefort cheese sauce. Fresh flowers on the tablecloths add a colorful touch. Service is slick and friendly, while fixed-prices run EUR 24-EUR 47.
