Getting Here

Fontainebleau—or, rather, neighboring Avon, 2 km (1½ mi) away (there's frequent shuttle-bus service to the château for €3 round-trip)—is a 45-minute rail ride from Paris's Gare de Lyon; tickets are €7.80 one-way.
