After a laborious climb up a steep hillside, you will see this polychromatic green-and-white marble limestone church from the 12th century. The Église Mosaïque de San Michele de Murato is one of the most unique religious sites on the island and seems to rise naturally from the grass and white rock landscape on which it stands. Look for the relief depicting Eve tempted by a serpent, covering her bare self with an oversized hand. The site has a stunning view overlooking the Golfe de St-Florent.
