Corsica Sights

Musée de Bastia

Updated 04/08/2014

Fodor's Review

The vaulted, colonnaded galleries of the Palais des Nobles Douzes houses the Musée de Bastia. Don't miss the Casablanca, a French submarine used by the Resistance with swastikas on the turret representing downed Nazi aircraft. The building itself has been undergoing modifications since the 18th century, when it used as the meeting place for rural commune leaders.
