Le Nicoli Review
Don't let the owner's sneakers and thirty-something age fool you—Jean Nicoli is as professional as they come, recently awarded accolades as a top young chef. The mouth-watering aromas of rotisserie chicken churning in the open kitchen seals the deal for most, but there are plenty of other options like veal tournedos with potatoes, mushroom risotto, and salmon tartar served with scallops and pistachio oil. The restaurant is extremely modern, right down to the silverware and stone plates. In summer, ask for a table on the 60-seat terrace and nibble tapas or baba rhum with skewered fresh fruit to your heart's–and stomach's–delight. For an alternative to more pricey a la carte items, try the affordable Corsican menu for only €19.50 including appetizer, main course, and dessert.
