Nuits de la Guitare

Nuits de la Guitare Review

One of the most important international musical events featuring Corsican guitarists, as well as classical, flamenco, blues, jazz, country, and manouches (gypsy) performers is held annually during the third week of July in a picturesque medieval village between Bastia and St. Florent. The origins of the festival date back 50 years, when the Dominici brothers—avid amateur musicians—created regular guitar nights. The sleepy village of only 600 inhabitants is now a mecca for the best European and internationally-renowned artists whose authentic passion for musical performance and collaboration is shared with both locals and visitors alike. Book in advance online or through official ticket sales offices throughout the island.
