This convivial little restaurant in the center of Épernay serves authentic regional dishes with a refined twist at reasonable prices. Chef Bernard Ocio executes a perfect marriage of flavors by highlighting the local wines; classics include homemade foie gras cooked in ratafia de champagne, rump steak served with a Pinot Noir sauce, cod accompanied by a Chardonnay sauce, and the quintessential potée à la champenoise. There are also more rustic choices for the daring, such as snails in parsley butter and tête de veau.
