Fodor's Expert Review Paris & Poste
97 rue de la République, Sens, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, 89100, France
At this inn, which began life as a canon's house in 1776, guest rooms are clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Street-side Rooms 42 and 43 are especially nice, while those opening out onto the patio at the rear are modern and stylish with cutting-edge bathrooms. Padded, leather armchairs in the lounge and the little curved wooden bar give public areas a comfy charm. In the traditional red-and-gold restaurant, chef-owner Phillipe Godard prepares with flair a broad range of prix-fixe menus.
