Val en Sel Review
The four classically decorated, color-coded rooms, all with private entrances and en suite bathrooms, belie the bed-and-breakfast tag of this picturesque 18th-century country residence—even better, the rooms are set around a spectacular walled flower garden, hailed as one of the world's finest and a fragrant haven of calm. Within walking distance of Vézelay itself and on the edge of the Morvan, it's an ideal base for touring the region. Breakfast is extra.
