A rather grand 19th-century mansion, the vine-covered Normandie is close to the center of Auxerre, just a short walk from the cathedral, and provides unpretentious, clean guest rooms. There's a billiard room, gym with sauna, and terrace that is a nice place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast is extra.
