Fodor's Review:

A rather grand 19th-century mansion, the vine-covered Normandie is close to the center of Auxerre and just a short walk from the cathedral. Rooms are unpretentious and clean. There's a billiard room, gym with sauna, and terrace that is a nice place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Pros: tidy rooms with nice bathrooms; helpful staff; games room and gym. Cons: overall, a little lackluster; not in town center.
