This hotel's "bones" are 17th century, set as it is in a fetching timber-frame post house, but inside, rooms are modern, airy, light, and accented with wooden beams and Louis Treize chairs. Ask for one on the inner courtyard, where it's quieter. Another plus: the hotel is near Stéphane Derbord's noted restaurant. Pros: central location. Cons: some bathrooms are lackluster; rooms overlooking main road get street noise.
