Book NowHostellerie de Levernois Review
An idyllically elegant and gracious country manor, this Relais & Châteaux property, smartly run by Jean-Louis and Susanne Bottigliero, enchants on many levels, from its unique fleur-de-lys topiary to its superb restaurant to its wood-beam cathedral guest rooms. The cuisine, under chef Philippe Augé, is of the highest standard and immediately earned the restaurant its first Michelin star two years ago. The lodgings in the modern annex overlooking the landscaped garden are the most up-to-date. Meals are occasions to be savored; prix-fixe menus begin at €65 and may highlight Charolais beef with a confit of shallots in cassis. The bistro offers more reasonably priced menus at €29 and €33 (and is open for lunch weekdays and dinners Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday).
