Château La Chassagne

Fodor's Review:

Feel like a king or a queen for a night at this stylish domain 12 km (7 mi) from Châteauneuf, close to the junction of A38 and A6; you can even arrive by private plane or helicopter and be picked up in a Rolls-Royce. Rooms have high ceilings and are spacious; the modern iron-and-cane furnishings are obviously expensive, but of somewhat questionable taste. The grounds include a golf range, tennis court, and swimming pool. Nouvelle cuisine is served in the restaurant, but the chef seems to focus more on artistic presentation than creative flavoring.
