Château Bordeneo Review

More of a large-scale house than a château, this imposing residence has been transformed by Françoise and Jean-Luc Duplessy into a handsome, fully modernized chambres d'hôtes within walking distance of the beach. Two acres of manicured gardens provide a lovely setting for the hotel's two grand terraces, which offer on-a-clear-day-you-can-see-forever views over the coastal landscape. Guest rooms are pleasingly spare and done up in tasteful earth colors, each with a private sitting room and wonderfully spacious bathroom. To accentuate the spa-like feel, the large, heated indoor pool is open daytime and evening, and massage appointments can be made. All in all, a perfect prescription for peace and quiet.
