More promising than you'd expect from the bland 1970s exterior, this easy-to-find hotel near the train station has a distinct sense of style. Public areas are decked out with eclectic art works and assorted objets chosen by the cheerful owner. The guest rooms, mainly midsize, combine clean lines and crisp white linens with bold accents; the bathrooms, though functional, aren't quite so slick.
