Sinebrychoffin Taidemuseo (Sinebrychoff Museum of Foreign Art)

Sinebrychoffin Taidemuseo (Sinebrychoff Museum of Foreign Art) Review

The wealthy Russian Sinebrychoffs owned a brewing company and lived in this splendid yellow-and-white 1840 neo-Renaissance mansion filled with wildly opulent furniture. The family's home and foreign art collection are now a public museum; you'll find a staid collection of Dutch and Swedish 17th- and 18th-century portraits, a lively collection of landscapes, miniatures, and porcelain, and the mansion's original decorative furniture. Concerts are occasionally held in the museum's main salon.
