Wensleydale Creamery

Wensleydale Creamery Review

In a working dairy, this museum tells the story of the famed local cheese so beloved by the popular animated characters Wallace and Gromit. You can watch production (best seen between 10 and 2) from the viewing gallery, and then taste (and buy) the output in the excellent cheese shop. A restaurant offers plenty of samples—try Wensleydale smoked, with ginger, or with apple pie.
