Dunsley Hall Hotel Review

Originally a shipping magnate's residence, this Victorian-era country house sits 4 miles west of Whitby on 4 acres of gardens and grounds, with views of the sea in the distance. Stained-glass windows and plenty of wood paneling complement rich carpets, rocking chairs, and leather armchairs. Bedrooms in the family-run hotel are spacious; while some have been renovated, others are a bit worn. (Renovations are in process.)
