Hotel Du Vin Review

A 19th-century orphanage, this historic building has been converted into a swanky hotel that preserves the original exposed brick walls and arched doorways. Rooms, filled with modern leather furnishings and original artworks, are spacious and very quiet; some are on two levels, with the bathrooms upstairs. Most have claw-foot tubs and showers big enough for two. The in-house restaurant specializes in bistro-style cooking with a British twist. Service is helpful and cheerful.
