Ashmount Country House Review

A short walk from the Parsonage, this charming stone building was once home to the Brontë sisters' physician, Amos Ingham. Today it's a peaceful, romantic hideaway where spacious and sunny rooms are individually decorated with antiques, rich fabrics, and swagged curtains. Some have four-posters, while others have whirlpool tubs, working fireplaces, or private patios with hot tubs. The managers are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the breakfasts are delicious.
