Holiday Inn Review

Grandly sited in a tall block overlooking Plymouth Hoe, this modern chain hotel has a businesslike tone but doesn't skimp on comforts. Rooms are spacious and uncluttered, with a brown-and-cream color scheme. On the penthouse floor, Elliot's restaurant provides a panoramic dining area, which is also used for self-serve breakfasts. There's a good-size indoor pool.
