Fodor's Review

One of the university's best-known and oldest colleges (dating to 1379), New College stands alongside New College Lane, known for its Italianate Bridge of Sighs, and is partly enclosed by the medieval city wall. Its grounds are big and enticing, with acres of soft green grass and pristinely maintained gardens. The chapel has evensong on weekdays at 6:15, except Wednesdays during term time.
