St. Mary's Church

St. Mary's Church Review

With a 16th-century "checkerboard" tower, St. Mary's overlooks Henley's bridge on Hart Street. The adjacent, yellow-washed Chantry House, built in 1420, is one of England's few remaining merchant houses from the period. It is an unspoiled example of the rare timber-frame design, with upper floors jutting out.
