In the center of this small Georgian town, this former coaching inn has uncluttered and comfortable bedrooms. Some rooms have beamed ceilings and skylights, and others have two levels. Olivier's serves contemporary British cuisine with a Continental accent, and the pub is a snug place for a pint. Ask about packages that include entrance to Woburn Abbey.

My wife and I spent two nights at The Inn at Woburn in late July. Although the lack of A/C during the hottest temp's recorded since 1911 was a bit daunting for us (we are yanks) our stay was extremely pleasant. Our cottage room was quite nice though not luxurious. Getting the hang of the shower temp adjustment was tricky. The restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was especially nicely done. The bar is a nice place for a drink. The staff was, to a person,
extremely accomodating and efficient. We will stay there again in future.
