Fodor's Review

The diminutive Rye Castle Museum, below the remains of the castle wall on East Street, displays watercolors and examples of Rye pottery, for which the town was famous. One of the most curious pieces of local memorabilia is the town's original fire engine, which was built in 1745 and kept in service for 120 years.
