Loch Fyne
Loch Fyne Review
Tucked away in one of Guildford's older buildings, this cleanly designed seafood restaurant has whitewashed walls and a casual atmosphere. Loch Fyne is a reliably good, innovative chain dedicated to using fresh, sustainable British seafood. Menu items change with the seasons, but oysters (in season) lead the way and are served several ways, although purists insists they are best served on the half shell. Main courses include poached smoked haddock with mashed potatoes in a whole-grain-mustard sauce, or kiln-roasted salmon flavored with whisky.
