White Horse Inn Review
Mentioned in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, this ancient coaching inn outside Faversham on the old London-to-Dover road retains much of its traditional character. The pale blue-and-cream guest rooms have pine furniture and some antiques. In addition to the friendly bar, there's an excellent restaurant in what used to be a courtroom; its traditional Sunday-roast lunches (chicken, beef, pork, or lamb with potatoes and mixed vegetables) are very popular.
