Thackeray's House

Thackeray's House Review

Once the home of Victorian novelist William Makepeace Thackeray, this mid-17th-century tile-hung house is now an elegant restaurant known for creative French cuisine. The menu changes daily, but often lists such dishes as roast beef with black truffle creamed potato, or poached lemon sole with pistachio crust and caremelized Belgium endive.
