White Vine House Hotel Review

Occupying a building from the late 1500s, this small hotel embraces tradition with features such as wood-paneled lounges with warming fireplaces. Bedrooms pleasantly mix antiques and reproductions; some have four-poster beds, others have pretty headboards. In the excellent Ambrette Restaurant you can sample British food from local sources, such as Kentish pheasant with fennel and potatoes, or perhaps venison in a red wine, garlic, and pepper sauce.
