Old Great Halfpenny Review

Surrounded by well-maintained grounds, this 16th-century half-timbered house looks like something out of a picture book. The owners are decorators and gardeners, so the place is impeccably done from top to bottom. Rooms have comfortable antique beds, and you can have breakfast on the patio in the summertime.

    Old Great Halfpenny Review

    I wanted to find somewhere very very special to spend our wedding night. I succeeded. Alison and Michael could not have been more kind and the house was perfect - log fires, candles, beautiful interiors, timber beams, beautiful countryside and delicious food. The room was of ample size and full of character; the food was healthy and delicious; the service was fantastic; and the value quite incredible considering I paid a similar price for an inferior chain hotel on the previous night. Thank you again for everything!
