Fodor's Review

Although it's part of a hotel, this pub has a separate entrance leading to a room with polished floors, wooden tables, and whitewashed stone. The menu and kitchen are overseen by top chef Michael Caines, so it's a good place to try his food at a much more reasonable price. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, except on weekend nights when the music gets turned up for the party crowd. Expect reliably good comfort food—juicy burgers, crispy fish-and-chips, or sirloin steak grilled to order. The courtyard is perfect for alfresco dining.
