Cerne Abbey Review

Little remains of this 10-century Benedictine abbey, but its South Gatehouse has been incorporated into the nearby Abbey House (a private residence). On the abbey grounds are the remains of the early 16th-century Abbot's Porch, adorned with carvings of small animals and a double oriel window, along with the15th-century hospice, one of the few surviving monastic guest houses.
