Mompesson House Review
On the north side of Cathedral Close sits one of Britain's most appealing Queen Anne houses, dating from 1701. There are no treasures per se, but some fine original paneling and plasterwork, as well as a fascinating collection of 18th-century drinking glasses, are highlights. Tea and refreshments are served in a walled garden.
