The South Sights

Southampton Maritime Museum

Updated 05/28/2014

Fodor's Review

Incongruously housed in a 14th-century wool warehouse, this museum brings together models, mementos, and pieces of furniture from the age of the great clippers and cruise ships, including a wealth of memorabilia relating to the Titanic—footage, photos, crew lists, and so on. Boat buffs will relish plenty of vital statistics dealing with the history of commercial shipping.
