Buckler's Hard Review

Among the area's more interesting attractions is this museum village 2 miles south of Beaulieu. This restored 18th-century hamlet is home to a fascinating Maritime Museum that tells the story of Lord Nelson's favorite ship, HMS Agamemnon. Exhibits and model ships trace the town's shipbuilding history. Also part of the museum are four building interiors in the hamlet that re-create 18th-century village life. Easter through October, you can take a cruise on the Beaulieu River. The Master Builder's House Hotel has a bar and restaurant.
