Rufus House Review

Personal service and easy access to the New Forest are the draws at this turreted Victorian house run by a Japanese-Italian couple; it's a short walk from Lyndhurst. The pastel-walled rooms are simply furnished but bright, airy, and spotlessly clean—opt for one of the two larger rooms in the turret, both with four-poster beds, if available. As you enjoy the excellent breakfast, you can gaze out over the gardens.
