The rooms are unremarkable but the views are special at this Best Western hotel occupying an unrivaled location above the western end of the Esplanade—ideal for watching yachters in the Solent. The lounge area has an open fire on winter evenings, and the sun terrace takes full advantage of fine weather. Comfortable guest rooms have chintz curtains and patterned fabrics.
