At this convivial restaurant, cheerful raspberry walls and unfussy walnut furnishings create a nicely laid-back vibe that complements the excellent food. Organic vegetables and free-range meat, sourced mostly from the surrounding region, are a specialty. The seasonal menu features such dishes as deviled kidneys with cauliflower, roasted chicken with garlic butter, and haddock and crab kedgeree (a rice dish with parsley and butter or cream).
