Lakeland House Review

In the middle of Coniston, Lakeland House has smart, modern rooms with bold wallpaper, beamed ceilings, and slate-floored bathrooms. Many have writing desks and comfy leather chairs, and there are some good views of the surrounding hills. Vegetarian and vegan breakfasts are a speciality, but meat is also an option. There's free Wi-Fi throughout, and an open fire downstairs.
