Lake District Restaurants

Lazy Daisy's Review

Wooden floors, a big window onto the main street, displays of hops, and the smell of homemade bread: it's a Lakeland kitchen with a contemporary twist. Try the daily roast, slow cooked with herbs, or great sandwiches such as melted Brie, bacon, and tomato, and homemade soup. Good all day are cakes such as "lumpy bumpy"—a caloric mix of peanuts, sugar, and chocolate. This friendly and cozy coffee shop also serves a full dinner menu, and there's Wi-Fi, too.
