By Car in Thames Valley with Oxford

The M4 and M40 radiate west from London, bringing Oxford (56 mi) and Reading (41 mi) within an hour's drive, except during rush hour. Although the roads are good, this wealthy section of the commuter belt has heavy traffic, even on the smaller roads. Parking in towns can be a problem, too, so allow plenty of time.
